Every machine you own

Connect over SSH.

Add a remote machine from Butai. Its projects join your tabs over SSH.

The daemon uses a local socket. Remote connections use your SSH keys.

Build on Butai

Your interface. Butai underneath.

Caliper uses Butai for agents, files and Git inside its CAD interface.

The current Caliper CAD app: the sample quadruped in the centre, its model structure on the left, and the agents panel with a live Butai terminal on the right.
/bmux/api/*

Relayed to the daemon's /v1/*: file tree, diffs, staging, commits, branches, agents, processes.

/ws

The framed protocol: panes arrive as cells, so Caliper never wrote a VT emulator.
